University of North Texas (UNT) Lichtenberg Lab Graduate Assistantship 2027 Overview

The Lichtenberg Lab within the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of North Texas invites applications for a fully funded PhD or Master’s (MS) position beginning in Summer or Fall 2027. Funded by a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) grant, the project investigates the impacts of ranch management practices on pollinator, plant, and soil microbe biodiversity in North Texas. The selected graduate assistant will focus primarily on the pollinator component, conducting field sampling, insect identification, and ecological dataset analysis.

Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Background: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Entomology, or a closely related discipline.

• Admission Status: Meet all standard graduate admission requirements for the UNT Department of Biological Sciences.
