University of Oxford Wolfson College Scholarships 2026/2027 Overview
Wolfson College, in partnership with the Oxford University Clarendon Fund and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), offers up to 20 fully funded scholarships for Master’s and DPhil (PhD) students starting in the 2026–2027 academic year. These competitive awards aim to support outstanding graduate scholars across a broad range of academic disciplines, providing complete financial backing to enable research excellence at the University of Oxford.
Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Qualifications: Must hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a high academic standing.
- Eligible Programs: Open to applicants applying for eligible postgraduate Master’s or DPhil degree programs at the University of Oxford.
- Entry Requirements: Must meet the academic entry standards and English language proficiency requirements (IELTS/TOEFL) set by the chosen Oxford department.
- College Preference: Preference is given to applicants who select Wolfson College as their first-choice college on their graduate application form when candidates are of equal academic merit.

- Three (3) academic references submitted confidentially
- Standardized English language test results (if applicable)
How to Apply
- Select an eligible Master's or DPhil program at the University of Oxford.
- Submit your standard Oxford graduate application through the university admissions portal before the course-specific December or January deadline.
- Select Wolfson College as your first-choice college on the application form to ensure priority consideration.
- By applying prior to the December/January course deadline, you are automatically considered for both the Clarendon Fund and Wolfson College partnered scholarships without needing to submit a separate application form.
